THE PRACTICAL OPERATION OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT ON LIFE INSURANCE: MODEL BUILDING AND CASES STUDY 楊政學 明新科技大學企業管理系 Cheng-Hsueh Yang Department of Business Administration Ming Hsin University of Science and Technology 摘要 本文嘗試提出壽險業知識管理的實務模式,同時整合研究方法與資料蒐集的三角測定程序,來探討研究個案知識管理之實務運作流程,分析比較個案間的相同性與差異性。研究結果發現國內壽險業均能運用資訊科技來強化本身競爭力,惟多著重於電子化系統建置的層次,在企業目標上較未獲致共識,完整評估標準與專責單位仍有待建立,長期應以創新策略的作法,不斷創造知識創新的商業價值。整體而言,國內壽險業在知識管理的應用上,應該回歸以人為本體的思惟模式,整合知識管理中資訊系統面與文化生態面的概念,再針對企業體本身特性的差異,發展出一套量身訂作的知識管理實務運作架構,真正將企業體內的內隱與外顯知識,予以資訊化與價值化。 關鍵字:壽險業、知識管理、個案研究 |
ABSTRACT This paper suggested the practical model of knowledge management on life insurance. We integrated the triangulation of methodologies and data to study and compare the practical operation on the life insurance cases. This study found the life insurance could improve self-competence by information technology. But we also found they stayed the information system level and lacked the executive institution of knowledge management. We thought the application of knowledge management should be backward the human capital. They themselves needed to integrate the concept of information system and culture ecology. They considered further themselves characteristics to build the practical model, which combined the tacit and explicit knowledge, for creating the commercial value. A STUDY ON ANTECEDENTS OF THE LEVEL OF STRATEGIC CONSENSUS OF INTERNATIONAL JOINT VENTURES—POWER AND COMMUNICATION PERSPECTIVES 彭玉樹 林柏浩 國立東華大學國際企業研究所 Yu-Shu Peng Po-Hao Lin Graduate Institute of International Business National Dong Hwa University 摘要 過去罕見有關國際合資企業決策制訂內部機制之相關研究。本研究探討影響國際合資企業決策共識程度之因素,主要目的正在於彌補此一理論缺口。以名列中華徵信所「前五千大型企業排名」之前1000大製造業廠商中106個國際合資案作為實證分析基礎,假說驗證主要採用區塊多元迴歸分析法。實證結果發現,合資母公司間行銷能力差異、國際化經驗差異、企業文化差異,以及資源滲透度為國際合資企業決策共識程度之重要決定因素。 關鍵字:國際合資企業、合作夥伴不對稱性、資源滲透度、策略決策共識 |
ABSTRACT Few previous studies explored the internal mechanism of decision-making in an international joint venture (IJV). The present study was aimed at exploring the antecedents of strategic consensus in an IJV to fill the theoretical gap. The research data including 106 IJVs was collected from top 1000 manufactory firms listed on the book “Taiwan Top 5000 Enterprises Ranking” published in 2002 by China Credit Information Service Company. Utilizing multiple regression analysis to test main hypotheses, we found the differences of marketing capacity, international experience, and corporate culture and the degree of resource permeability between parent companies are important determinant factors of the level of strategic consensus in an international joint venture. THE ASSOCIATION BETWEEN FIRM LIFE-CYCLE STAGE, ASSETS PORTFOLIO, AND FIRM’S FUTURE PERFORMANCE 楊朝旭 黃 潔 國立中正大學會計學系 Chaur-Shiuh Young Chieh Huang Department of Accounting National Chung Cheng University 摘要 本研究旨在探討企業生命週期、資產組合運用與企業未來績效之關係。針對我國上市公司進行變異數分析及迴歸分析後,本研究發現處於不同生命週期階段之企業,其資產運用之特徵有顯著地差異。我國企業在成長期時運用較高比重的營運資金與無形資產,並隨著企業進入成熟及衰退期而逐漸遞減。相反的,長期投資與固定資產的運用比重在成長期時最低,隨著企業進入成熟及衰退期而有逐漸增加的趨勢。此外,本研究亦發現資產運用組合與企業未來績效的關連性是企業生命週期的函數。無形資產(固定資產與長期投資)與企業未來績效的正向關連性在成長期(衰退期)中最高。 關鍵字:企業生命週期、企業績效、資產組合 |
ABSTRACT The purpose of this paper is to examine the association between firm life-cycle stage, assets portfolio, and firm’s future performance. ANOVA and OLS regressions are applied to test the hypotheses developed. As predicted, using a sample of firms listed in Taiwan Stock Exchange, this paper finds that the assets portfolio characteristics in different firm life-cycle stages (growth, maturity, and decline) are distinct. Especially, firms in the growth (decline) stage have significantly higher percentage of working capital and intangible assets (long-term investments and fixed assets) in their assets portfolios. Besides, the association between assets portfolio and firm’s future performance is a function of firm life cycle stage. Particularly, greater reliance on intangible assets (long-term investments and fixed assets) will have a stronger positive impact on future performance for firms in the growth (decline) stage than for firms in the other two stages. THE IMPACT OF EC DEVELOPMENT POTENTIALS TO BUSINESS MODELS AND APPLICATION STRATEGIES 湯宗泰 國立雲林科技大學資管系 Jeung-Tai E. Tang Department of Information Management National Yunlin University of Science & Technology 摘要 本研究的目的係探討台灣企業目前發展電子商務潛力之高低與企業經營模式及應用策略間的差異程度。調查對象為台灣1000大製造業及612家零售業,樣本數共1612家,有效回收問卷231份,有效回收率為14.3%。結果顯示,企業的目標顧客群接受網路的態度愈高,企業愈傾向採用「提供顧客支援服務」與「提供優惠待遇」經營模式。在零售業發展電子商務的潛力高低方面,若商品可電子化的程度愈高,則零售業愈傾向採用「被動跟隨潮流的發展」的策略;若消費者接受網路的程度愈高,則零售業愈傾向採用「以發展電子商務為主」的策略。對於製造業而言,電子商務發展潛力的高低,並非是製造業對電子商務因應策略上的決策考量重點。 關鍵字:發展潛力、經營模式、應用策略、電子商務 |
ABSTRACT The main objectives of this research are to examine different perceptions of business models and application strategies caused by the development potentials in electronic commerce. A questionnaire was developed and distributed to the top 1000 manufacturers and 612 retailers in Taiwan. 231 usable responses were received for a 14.3% response rate. Results show that companies having more customers, comfortable in purchasing over the internet, tend to apply service-support and special-offer business models. To retailers, if products could be highly appeal electronically, they tend to adopt “go-with-the-trend” EC application strategy. Further, If consumers’ attitudes are more toward electronic shopping, retailers tend to adopt “develop fully” EC application strategy. To manufacturers, there are no impacts on EC application strategy by EC development potentials. Keywords: Development Potentials, Business Models, Application Strategies, EC

ON-LINE SINGLE VEHICLE DISPATCHING PROBLEM 劉金維 環球技術學院行銷管理系 王隆昌 國立台北科技大學土木工程學系 Chin-Wei Liu Dept. of Marketing Management Transworld Institute of Technology Lung-Chuang Wang Dept. of Civil Engineering National Taipei University of Technology 摘要 本文所探討之線上型單一車輛調派問題其顧客資訊具隨時到達與服務時窗限制等作業特性;同時,在車輛旅運時間的計算上,採符合一般公路交通量調查之依時性路段旅行速率為旅運時間計算依據,以確切考量因路網上交通條件變化,對車輛巡行路線規劃所造成之影響。此外,為更深入瞭解此類問題性質,本研究嘗試以動態規劃法為基礎開發一連續且延續式之求解架構,並透過160個數值案例分析、比較隨機需求下之線上解(on-line solution),與資訊完全揭露下(full information)之相對靜態問題離線最佳解(off-line optimal solution)兩者間之差異,以期進一步測知該求解架構之可行性與發展性。在不同的情境設定下分析後,本研究發現:(1)在相同的作業條件及95%的信賴水準下,線上解與離線最佳解間總旅運距離(travel distance)於對稱性網圖問題測試結果存在7.2% ~ 11.2%的差異,於非對稱性網圖問題測試結果之差異為5.9% ~ 9.2%。(2)當顧客要求服務時窗愈趨緊縮(tight)時,線上解與離線最佳解間總旅運時間(travel time)差異不若兩者總旅運距離之差異顯著。(3)來單服務率(fulfilling rate)在超過某臨界服務範圍後,會隨服務範圍的擴大而大幅降低。最後,本研究亦對此主題未來可能延伸之探討方向及應用領域提出初步想法。 關鍵字:線上問題、依時性、車輛調派、動態規劃法 |
ABSTRACT The study is focused on the On-line Single Vehicle Dispatching Problem (OSVDP), which means the dispatching of single vehicle to satisfy multiple requests that evolve in a dynamic fashion. Time window for serving the customers are considered. To deal with the impact of traffic congestion, the time-dependent speed function is applied to calculate the traveling time when the vehicle is routing between two customers or between a customer and the depot. A dynamic programming based algorithm is developed for solving OSVDP. In the last section, some testing results on small, randomly generated problems are also discussed and reported.
